Covering Your Home and Yard Through Every Shift of Ohio's Pest Season
Your home and yard in the Miami Valley face a full four-season pest calendar, from summer mosquitoes and stinging insects to rodents and cockroaches that push inside when temperatures drop. Pest Authority of Dayton, OH delivers year-round pest control with a science-backed perimeter program and scheduled follow-through that keeps pests out through every season.
A thorough property walk-through maps your home's specific entry points and pest risks, and the treatment plan built from that assessment eliminates active infestations before ongoing protection begins. Barrier 360 then builds the perimeter defense that stops pests from reaching your foundation, windows, and entry points between visits.
In Dayton, mild springs, humid summers, and cold winters shift pest pressure from outdoor-active species in warmer months to rodents and cockroaches each fall. We are locally owned and operated, serving homes and businesses throughout the area, with trained technicians who return on schedule to maintain your protection and respond to seasonal pest changes.

Understanding Pest Season in the Great Miami River Valley
The Great Miami River Valley's waterway network sustains elevated mosquito, tick, and ant activity through spring and summer in Dayton and surrounding communities. Ohio's four-season climate creates a fall compression window when stink bugs, rodents, and cockroaches push inside ahead of the cold, and a home without proactive perimeter coverage provides easy entry points as temperatures shift.
Eastern subterranean termites work through the valley's moist soils causing structural damage before most homeowners see any signs, and bed bugs remain a consistent risk in a city with significant transit activity. Where most pest control companies respond only when problems surface, a professional exterminator on a scheduled program addresses the full pest cycle through every seasonal shift.

Ants: Barrier 360 prevents interior infestation of most ants. 80% of all pests enter from the exterior of your home. Fire ants and carpenter ants will require custom service. Call us for more details.
Termites: Termite control and elimination require an inspection and assessment by our technician. The process and protocol for termites depends on the extent of your infestation and damage. Call us for more details.
Fleas: Fleas can present a challenge, and a complete inspection of the interior of your home and adjacent property is required. Call us for more details.
Cockroaches: We can help you take back your property from cockroaches. Our Barrier 360 treatment around the outside of your home can prevent cockroaches from entering in the first place. In certain situations, a complete inspection of the interior of your home may be necessary.
Rodents: Our rodent protocol varies depending on the degree of infestation and type of rodent. An extensive inspection and evaluation must be performed both in the interior and exterior of your home
Bees (carpenter): An exterior inspection and evaluation of the exterior of your home or property is critical to determine the extent of an infestation. We can then provide the appropriate service to eradicate the Carpenter bee infestation.
Wasps and hornets: We can remove wasps and hornets from outside your home. And if they do make it inside, just give us a call and we will perform additional treatments at no extra cost.
Spiders: Our Barrier 360 treatment will protect your home from most types of spiders, but if they do get in, we will perform an interior treatment at no extra cost.
Bed bugs: We will perform a full inspection and assessment of your bed bug infestation to design a treatment and prevention plan.
Our exclusive Barrier 360 treatment is applied around the perimeter of your home, to prevent pests from getting in. Occasionally, as with bed bugs, rodents, and some other pests, we’ll need to work inside your home as well. Barrier 360 is an exterior treatment that guards against 11 pests from entering your home. If they get in, we will come in and treat them according to our service protocols.
