Dave and Brenda Witten, co-owners of Mosquito Authority, have been entrepreneurs for over 50 years and have founded companies nationwide, building them to be highly successful. Their partner, Scott McKinley, has been a Class A licensed Building Contractor for 20+ years, and over that time, he’s developed a reputable name with his customers and within the local community. His wife, Christine, has been the Franchise Owner and Manager for the past six years, wearing all hats except actually spraying mosquitoes!
For the past six years, our franchise has been very involved in both local fundraising events and community events. Our annual Fireman's Carnival is something we enjoy giving to by spraying the local carnival grounds. One of our favorite events is the annual Bay Seafood Festival, which we truly enjoy treating so that event-goers will enjoy being mosquito free while they’re enjoying amazing seafood.
We even provide tick control for local animal shelters, because we are true animal lovers. We also reach out to those in our local community who may be in need or who may be going through a crisis to provide free mosquito control service.
We look for 2-3 families each season to take care of in that way. Last year, one of our customers had to quit her job because she was going through breast cancer treatments. We treated her at no charge so that she could enjoy her beautiful home mosquito-free. In 2018 we earned the prestigious Pacesetter Platinum awarded within the Mosquito Authority organization to celebrate our exponential growth within our territory.
